Our HIQE Mid Navy is your new waterproof outdoor shoe that is extremely robust without losing comfort. High-quality, supple materials and a well thought-out design make this barefoot shoe a reliable partner for every adventure.

For this HIQE, we have used dark blue premium suede in combination with robust microfibre fabric. It is this combination that makes this barefoot shoe so incredibly supple and wonderfully flexible. Nevertheless, it gives you sufficient stability, especially in the ankle area, which is a great advantage on rough trails.

Thanks to our special ZAQQ inner membrane, this hiking boot is absolutely windproof and waterproof and at the same time extremely breathable. For HIQE we use our highly flexible outdoor sole, which always gives you the grip you need.

Comfortable shoe

These mid-height shoes are ideal. Waterproof and durable. Early in the morning with the dog through the wet grass, no problem. Of course I waterproofed them beforehand.

Today I completed my first hike in wet weather in the low mountain ranges. Since these are my first real barefoot shoes, I was unsure what to expect. In fact, I imagined the barefoot feeling would be even stronger. The footbed could also feel a bit wider. I tried on a few shoes, but as I said, I had little practical experience. They are definitely more barefoot than my normal hiking shoes.
The hike was good, nothing unpleasant was noticed. Good grip on wet stones, forest floors and damp leaves. You only have zero grip on greasy mud.
I'm a little sad that the color I wanted wasn't available in my size, but otherwise I'm very happy with my first real barefoot shoes.
