With its waxed suede surface and the special inner membrane, the outdoor shoe is waterproof. This means that you are well advised to wear our EXPEQ even on rainy days, as water cannot penetrate at all.
Our special outdoor rubber sole is another highlight of this mid-cut hiking boot. It is so thin that you can feel the ground easily and so flexible that your foot muscles are well trained. Nevertheless, the barefoot sole offers you sufficient protection and surefootedness on any terrain.
For maximum comfort, we have provided the outdoor boot with a soft padding at the shaft end. So nothing rubs against your calves, even on long hikes. Our EXPEQ is extremely robust and yet a flyweight. With this outdoor boot, you'll be ahead of the game wherever you go.

Super comfortable. I ordered them in sizes 43 & 44 and kept the 44
I am very satisfied with the shoes, great running feeling, absolutely waterproof, they are my third pair of school shoes, and I still have the same enthusiasm as the first ones
The lightest and most comfortable hiking boots I've ever had. I am more than happy with the shoes.
After more than three weeks, my first conclusion is very positive. The shoes are super comfortable and running in them is really fun. At first I was a bit skeptical as to whether I could handle the thin sole, but neither the cold of the last few days nor the stony ground or anything like that bothered me in the slightest. I often wear the shoes all day and have zero problems. I just can't say anything definitive about longer outdoor use, e.g. on hikes, and the issue of long-term durability.
It may be a little difficult to put it on, that's because of the cut of this model.

After a few years and many kilometers of hiking, my first EXPEQ Obscure unfortunately gave up on the sole, even though the upper leather was stressed but still in perfect condition. The new ones aren't quite as supple straight away, but they're still my first choice for the transitional outdoor season :-)
They are very comfortable and also unexpectedly warm
These are my first barefoot shoes! Inspired by my wife, I also wanted to devote myself to this topic. Since they are already very satisfied ZAQQ If I wear shoes, I chose this shoe. I am impressed with the look and comfort. I've already run other distances, even on different surfaces. Absolutely no problem for me, but very pleasant! I don't think these will be my last barefoot shoes.
These shoes fit wonderfully and are super comfortable from day 1.
The only thing that's a little tricky is putting them on... until I get the shoes on.
But thanks to the loop at the back it somehow works.
The shoe is very comfortable and waterproof. The heel cap holds the heel wonderfully. I don’t have any “slippage feeling.” The perfect shoe for me
The Expeq Obscure Waterproof arrived so quickly today. Fits like the previous 2 pairs (black velor). They look exactly as pictured and are super comfortable. I'm curious how it feels on long walks.
The shoe makes a good impression all around. Careful workmanship, high-quality material, looks good and fits the foot.
The ground contact is grippy and stays dry even when running through puddles. So far 100% recommended.
The real test comes when hiking in the high mountains next week!

Very good shoes, fast delivery, again at any time!
I was looking for a sturdy and, above all, weatherproof shoe for our holiday in Ireland and I happened upon them ZAQQ bumped. I immediately liked the look of the shoe and it was delivered super quickly. I usually wear a 40-41 and ordered a 42 (based on measurements). It's a bit loose but at least hiking socks fit in so that's perfect.
I'm really very happy with this shoe and didn't expect it to feel so great. It is waterproof, looks great, the sole lets a lot of the ground through and is very reliable in terms of sure-footedness.
I can only recommend this shoe!
The small drawback is that the laces are too long, although I think it's great that there's even a replacement included.
Really high praise for this shoe!

Strength and elasticity, as well as good shoe feel
The EXPEC Obscure Waterproof does what it promises: looks great for size. 42 also "small", easy to slip on, feels like a slipper, absolutely tight (tested in slush), sole safe even on ice. It couldn't be better!

As soon as I unpacked it, the quality that I would expect was evident. A solid shoe in every respect, a perfect fit and not immediately recognizable as a barefoot shoe!
