Our leather

Not all leather is the same. For many of your new ones ZAQQ We like to use our 2 mm premium hunting leather for barefoot shoes.

Hunting leather is a special type of leather and is almost not used in the shoe industry because it is very complex to produce and has to be processed particularly accurately.

These are perfect conditions for us, because our factory enables us to use this high-quality leather for our shoes.

Another special feature: Our hunting leather can be used on both sides.

Two sides, one character of its own

One side has a beautifully smooth surface with a natural grain and feels particularly comfortable on the skin.

The second side is similar to suede, velvety and elegant in appearance with a compact structure.

This makes the leather very resistant to external weather influences, is water-repellent and is easier to clean.

By using hunting leather and the mix between smooth and velvety sides, everyone gets ZAQQ Shoe made from hunting leather has its inimitable and unique character.

2 mm leather as an exception in the shoe industry

With a thickness of 2 mm, our leather is an absolute exception in the shoe industry.

Only a few manufacturers can process such strong leather, as this requires craftsmanship at the highest level.

The stronger the leather used, the higher the quality of the shoes.

For this reason, we can do without an additional inner lining, several layers of leather or metal eyelets for lacing, because our 2 mm hunting leather is extremely tear-resistant and does not require any reinforcement.

Sustainability

Regional, natural and responsible

For us as a company, environmental protection means producing with as little waste as possible and therefore sustainably, using natural, regenerating materials and avoiding environmentally harmful chemicals.

Of course, this happens because we ourselves are convinced of it and communicate it that way to our employees. What does that mean for you?

Yours ZAQQ Barefoot shoes are produced regionally. This saves us long and useless transport routes.

By producing in our factory, we can also ensure that no substances that are harmful to the environment or even harmful to health are used in production.

Examples of this are our solvent-free glue, the rubber sole and the exclusive use of natural leather.
